He has recruited, built, and led sales teams of over 1500+ people, and managed revenues that crossed hundreds of crores across multiple businesses and markets. He has appointed distributors and dealer networks across India and abroad, and opened export markets across the Gulf, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

His qualifications span an MBA in Sales & Marketing, a Postgraduate Diploma from The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and a Certified Management Accountant qualification from the IMA, USA.

Ram Ramachandran is a Melbourne-based business analyst and consultant with more than 37 years of experience in Business Intelligence, strategic advisory, and cross-border collaboration.

He is an alumnus of two of India’s premier institutions — the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) — where he developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking, technology, and management strategy.

Over nearly four decades in Australia, Ram has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to businesses seeking data-driven insights and strategic direction. His work has focused on helping organisations interpret complex business information, improve decision-making processes, and identify new growth opportunities.

Ram has also played a significant role in facilitating commercial engagement between India and Australia, supporting companies, entrepreneurs, and institutions in both countries to collaborate effectively.
